Health and Physical Education is the introduction course taken during the freshmen year. Health is taken during the fall semester, and physical education will begin in January.
During the first semester students will take a more in depth look into their personal health. Students will learn different tools and practice different strategies to maintain, protect, or improve their individual health. Topics include, but are not limited to: mental/emotional health, social health, physical health, diseases, drugs and alcohol, nutrition, and safety and first aid.
PE will be devoted to improving individual skills required for different sports and activities sand introducing different strategies and tactics in order to better succeed at game adan sport. Sports and activities include, but are not limited to, fitness, volleyball, basketball, football, softball, badminton, soccer, pickleball, lacrosse, and handball.
