Hello everybody, my name is Mr. Cox and I'm an 8th grade math teacher! I love teaching 8th grade math because it is an introduction to the many different fields of mathemathics (Algebra, Geometry, Statistics, etc...).  

Attending Western Kentucky University, I obtained a Bachelors Degree of Arts in Mathematics and Secondary Education through the SKyTeach program. I also have an MAEd from University of the Cumberlands in School Counseling. I have absolutely no regrets and love both students and teaching 8th grade! 

In my time outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my wife, serving as Worship Leader/Music Director at my local church, playing the drums and guitar, bass fishing and spending time with family and friends! Im excited for all of the cool things that this year has in store for us at ACMS!
