I graduated from Lindsey Wilson College with a BA in Elementary Education in 1994. In 1997, I obtained my MA in education from Campbellsville University. I also have a Rank I in School Administration with an emphasis in Supervision that I earned from Western Kentucky University in 2001 (Level I) and in 2005 (Level II).
Years of Experience
I am currently in my 25th year of teaching. I teach 4th grade language arts/reading and serve also as the Future Problem Solving Coach for the ACES Academic Team. Other duties include serving as a resource teacher for interns and student teachers.
I have been married to John Pike for 25 years. We reside on our farm in the Cane Valley/Coburg area of Adair County with our two children. Jeanene is a Senior, and Collin is a Freshman at Adair County High School. I am an active member of Mt. Carmel UM Church where I play the piano and teach Sunday school. I enjoy reading, shopping, spending time with my family, and watching my son perform in the Adair County Band, and Jeanene serve as an active member and Senior Vice-President of our local FFA Chapter.
