Born Learning Academy is a series of family workshops for parents of children not yet enrolled in Kindergarten. Any Adair County parent who is pregnant or has a child under the age of 5 years can attend along with their family. Parents can learn learn how to turn everyday moments into learning opportunities to prepare their child for school.
On Thursday, February 28th our second workshop for this school year was held for Born Learning Academy at Adair County Primary Center. The night began with a family meal brought and served by 3 Trees Church.
Taylor Regional Pediatrics set up a Teddy Bear Clinic at Born Learning Academy where children could weigh and measure their favorite teddy bear, doll, or stuffed animal. Parents also had the choice to have their child weighed and measured.
