This begins my 16th year teaching. I have taught math for grades 5-8 and social studies for 7th grade. I have been married for 30 years to my wife, Shannon. We have a beautiful daughter, MaKayla, who graduated from ACHS in 2016. She is now a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University and pursuing a master's degree in occupational therapy.
I love athletics. I have coached middle school girls and boys basketball and softball.
I graduated from Lindsey Wilson College with a Bachelor's Degree and have received my Master's Degree from University of the Cumberlands. I plan to continue coaching again this year at the middle school level for girls softball.

This will be my 6th year serving as the Pride Academy teacher for the middle school. I love this position and truly look forward to a great year in 2021-22.

 I will be teaching in the Pride Academy at the middle school for the fourth school year. We will be using Odysseyware for our curriculum. Hopefully the students I will have this year, will use this opportunity to catch up with their like-aged peers. I am extremely excited to embark on this journey at this time in my educational career. My students will be graded using the following grading system: tests 60%, quizzes 25%, and daily work counting 15% of their final score.
