Bio: Greetings! My Name is Mr. Ballou and I teach English I. English is an integral part of success after high school. I am blessed to teach this subject and prepare students for their futures. English is all around us and I enjoy helping students to develop more of an appreciation for English and literature.

While I love my job and the subject that I teach, the students are the real reason that I come to work each day. I make a point to develop a positive rapport with students, so that each one feels a sense of belonging when entering my classroom. It's my intent to make the subject I teach as real-world as possible, so that students are able to easily connect with the content.

If you have any questions, I respond to my school email promptly and can be reached at ACHS. I look forward to talking and meeting with each of you.
