My name is Krystal Redmon. I am a first year teacher at Adair County High School. In the 2017-2018 school year I will be teaching Introduction to Criminal Justice, Cadet Corps and Introduction to Social Studies. I am a graduate of ACHS class of 2003. I graduated from Lindsey Wilson College in 2008, with a BA in Criminal Justice and a minor in History. In 2005 I joined the United States Marine Corps. Upon completion of basic training, marine combat training, then Military Police school I joined my unit in Lexington, KY, as a marine reservist. I was honorably discharged from service in 2009. I have worked in 911 for 10 years. I have worked 2 years in a law office as a case research specialist.

I did not take the traditional path to teaching, however, I hope to instill in my students that dreams can change and through hard work anything is possible.
