My name is Robbie Emerson. This is my fifth year at Adair County Schools.  I teach in the subject areas of Science and English. I am an Exceptional Education Teacher and am a co-teacher in these classes. I have been department chair of the Exceptional Education Department for the past four years. We have a great team of eight teachers that work very well together. I feel in the last three years, not just in our school, but in our department we have made excellent gains with pass/failure rates, relationships with students, and overall success in educating our students as a whole. I am also a homebound teacher which gives me the opportunity to see other students in an environment of a different setting. Each day it is my goal to do my best to teach students about striving to do their best in everything they do, and to prepare them for life when they leave Adair County High School.
