Kim Goodin, Asst. Principal
I have been in education for 28 years. I began my career at John Adair in 1984 as a Physical Education teacher. When the girls basketball head coaching position came open, I applied and was fortunate enough to gain the position. I was moved to Adair County High School were I taught Physical Education / Health for 15 years and coached varsity basketball for 13 years. I have also coached girls softball and boys / girls golf. I am currently the girls golf coach at the high school along with my duties as Assistant Principal.
I enjoy being Asst. Principal at JAIS. I feel one of my most important responsiblities in this position is our school culture. We try really hard to create a culture where our students can feel safe, understand the importance of getting an education and enjoy coming to school. Our teachers/staff are top notch in my book and I am proud to be part of the staff at JAIS.
