Adair County Middle School’s Quick Recall team featuring starting 6th Graders Trevir Andrews, Bailey Watts, Andrew Zinati, and Joseph Kotter dominated in the first two rounds of Quick Recall against Russell and Monroe and finished the tournament undefeated by toppling Green County to secure First Place in Quick Recall.

In Written Assessments, Adair took First place honors in four out of six areas of competition, with Andrew Zinati taking first place in Social Studies, Kyrnan Bowman taking first place in Language Arts, Bailey Watts taking first place in Arts and Humanities, and Trevir Andrews taking first place in Science. In addition to Trevir’s first place finish in Science, teammates Andrew Zinati and Bailey Watts took home second and third Place honors in Science, securing three of the top six positions while Tristin Andrews took home fourth place in Math and third place in Social Studies and Joseph Kotter took home third place in Arts and Humanities and fifth place in Social Studies.

In addition to impressive Quick Recall and Written Assessment finishes, the team won First Place in Overall Competition and team members Trevir Andrews and Andrew Zinati were among the top ten highest scoring 6th graders across the state in Science Written Assessment.
