Parents & Visitors

All parents and visitors to the school or on school grounds must report to the office and remain there until the student is called. Visitors are not permitted to attend class without advance permission of the principal and/or teacher. Students are not to bring younger siblings or other visitors.

The following policy was adopted by the SBDM Council on January 16, 2007 (reviewed April 2010) to help ensure the safety of all children here at A.C.E.S. 
For the safety and security of our students all students must stay in the gymnasium/cafeteria area in the morning until they are dismissed to go to the room.  With the exception of preschool students or any student with special medical or education needs, no parent/visitor may escort a student to their classroom.  Before 7:40 a.m., you may walk your child to the gym door from the back entrance student-drop off area.  After 7:40 a.m., you must enter through the front entrance and report to the office.  If a parent/visitor is going to enter the cafeteria in the morning during breakfast time, he/she MUST obtain a visitor nametag from the front office.
